Asrar Rashid

Dr. Asrar is the acting chair of pediatric care in NMC Hospital and a research fellow in machine learning at Edinburgh Napier University. He is pursuing his PhD in machine learning models development for transcriptomic research applied to sepsis, a field that aims to identify gene expression patterns and biomarkers for sepsis diagnosis and treatment. He has skills and expertise in differential gene expression analysis, machine learning, septic shock, pulmonary hypertension, and pediatric critical care. He is interested in developing precision models for disease detection and therapeutic optimization that are secure and reliable. He is also passionate about healthcare innovation and improving outcomes for children with life-threatening sepsis.
