An interdisciplined group of researchers researching different topics related to advanced technologies, within yet not limited to the fields of AI, security, and cryptography. The group is funded by semi-government funds to fulfill research objectives in different fields. This includes, but is not limited to, the design and analysis of emerging technologies and cryptographic and security primitives in both hardware and software. The former and current portfolios of projects of the group include, but are not limited to, cryptographic designs and cryptanalysis for hardware and software, avionics security, improving machine learning analytics for embedded systems and robotics systems, self-driving car security research, virtual asset analysis, and algorithmic misinformation impact. In addition to many projects, the group is working on emerging technologies analysis, AR and VR trust models, metaverse governance and trust frameworks, biomedical device security, post-quantum analysis and designs for secure systems, and building financial analytics and non-biased ML algorithms. This is the research lab of professor Hoda al-Khzaimi and her team of graduate students, research assistants, and technical development staff.
